Our organisation was established to provide overseas support for our partner organisation, Charity Centre for Children and Youth Development based in Solwezi District of Zambia. The activities we aim to primarily support include the provision of vocational skills training and micro entrepreneurship for orphans and vulnerable children; support the establishment of community schools to enhance education to the underprivileged children in Zambia; support the operations of Fortune Community School as well as any additional projects run deemed suitable by CCCYD Zambia that are of direct benefit to the local community. Support is primarily given by the provision of financial support through UK charitable based grant schemes. All of CCCYD UKs trustees have a working relationship CCCYD Zambia's chief director, Alex Bwaluka, having worked with him in Zambia to establish the aforementioned Fortune Community School prior to the registration of CCCYD UK and aim to continue this relationship.
