Mission Statement
The Charity Centre for Children and Youth Development (CCCYD) was established in 2005 in Zambia’s Solwezi District as a community response to a multitude of health, educational, and social crises exacerbated by HIV/AIDS. CCCYD hopes to provide its community members – particularly orphans and vulnerable children, youths and and women – with the resources they need to succeed in order to promote sustainable development in the region. To do so, CCCYD offers STEM educational, Primary and Secondary education and Girls post-secondary scholarship opportunities, vocational training, financial literacy education, and community-building assistance to those who live in the North-western province of Zambia.
